My house has a lot of interesting lighting, but due to the frequent storms lately there hasn’t been a lot of light coming in. I was thinking I could create my own lighting fixture because I wanted to mimic the kind of iridescent light that sometimes comes from the windows in my house. So I used my phone flashlight, my toothbrush cup, and the rings I always wear. I tried different arrangements of the rings and tried photographing it from different angles. It reminds me of found objects on the bottom of the ocean and the light gives it that look that light coming through water would look like.
