“wooden fridge”
For this project, I wanted to do something with my small wooden chest which I used to store my cosmetics. Obviously, people usually use it to store small supplies that they use daily. I then had this idea of what if I store foods in it and make it like a fridge. I took out four drawers and stacked them of two on each side of the chest, so they can play the roles of doors of the fridge. Then I began to pull out foods from my real fridge and picked the foods that can be fit into the chest. On the bottom drawer, which is the biggest one, I added fruits and vegetables to it. For the “doors’ I added things like cans/beverages. In order to make it more real, I kept some foods open. Finally, I decided to add lights to it. I found two string lights and I added to the interior and the exterior edge. I like that the final look of it has a dreamy effect because of the lights and how large the foods look like in this small chest.

I really like this piece. I think the lights were very effective at creating an interesting and dramatic piece. I also think the idea is very cool of creating a miniature fridge, and I like how you organized where each food is located.
