- I tried to curves some grooves on the clay, so I made the first one by hand. But then, I found it is better if I could use the tool, so I used tools to make the second one.
- Irregular cube with some scratches added with a fork. I get a feel for the use of the fork through this modeling.
- I tried to roll the clay, and I made this one.
- I wanted to carve something that stood out, so I used a knife to carve this one

Yufei, the pieces that are more three dimensional are more successful for this project. Try to take form into consideration and think about how the form occupies space. Can it be rotated successfully or is it meant to be flat on the table and viewed from above. Your last two pieces are meant to be sitting flat and suffer as a consequence. Work in the round, pay attention to each side and try to make the form flow from one side to the other. You achieve that in the first two pieces. Good work.
The first one reminds me of the contents of the blender when you blend together a smoothie if you were to look at it from above and it has a nice movement to it. I would have liked to see the one with curled edges have more aspects to it but I like the simplicity at the same time.
