For this work, I first colored the paper with an oil painting stick. Then a spiral structure was carved as the basis for the work. I hold it in place with a piece of paper that goes through the spiral. And then add some structure to it to make it look more stable and full.
The color really enhances the form and the form itself is a good balance between solid and void. All of the views you presented give an interesting account of the piece. In future try to photograph your work on a more neutral background, or alter the background digitally to enhance the piece.
