Face Modeling

I put the model in front of the window so that the contours of the face could be seen. I spent a lot of time on the shape of the face by starting with the nose, then moving to the on the jawbone. Then I molded the cheekbones and brow bones in order to frame the face for the eyes. I had a lot of issues with making the eyes look realistic, especially with the pupils and eyeball because I didn’t know how to show the darker color of the irises without having it protrude. I also struggled with the shape and placement of the mouth, especially in the side profile because it sticks out too much.
