So, yeah I stared at this all weekend thinking about the endless number of things I could do with a guitar. I figured that after DAYS my brain might be able to come up with something that was a little bit creative… 
The product of 3 days of brainstorming: 
….So yeah I basically decided to destroy it. 
If you were wondering, smashing a guitar is actually so much harder than it looks. 
Just this split took me more than a few Hendrix-style slams. 
I give it an A+ for stress relief (was that part of the grading criteria…?). 
Look! I even made a little hand out of wire for the sculpture. 
Genius. 
“Maybe if I hold it up next to Jimi Hendrix it will be art?”

I think you need to do a short progression from whole to broken since it is really about the process rather than the guitar.
