Costume

For this project I pulled a lot of inspiration from Diana Al-Hadid. Her work to me reminds me of the underworld/ruins of a past empire so in my piece I thought of creating someone who was the ruler of that world. I used twine like string and wire to create my costume and was really pleased with how it turned out. If I were to add any more detail or alterations I would add more layers of the string falling down my body at different levels (ie a wire with string around my chest, around my hips, etc). As I finished the piece I realized it also acts as some home decor when hung up so definitely will be looking into how to display it better!
