I was really interested in playing with space and light for this project. I decided to see how I could create my own version of reality confined to itself. I really enjoyed photographing this piece and seeing how I could manipulate the angles and arrangements I shot at to distort the sense of balance and scale. I drew inspiration from Kusama’s Infinity Rooms with my use of mirrors on the exterior. I would love to make an even larger version of this work and spend more time focusing on the precision of the angles and reflections from the mirrors.
